Comparison of repair effect between digital impression and traditional bite
1. Mold taking time.The nursing operation time of digital mold taking (5.58±1.28) min was significantly shorter than that of traditional mold biting (17.08±5.68) min.
2. Comparison of adverse reactions.The overall incidence of foreign body sensation, nausea, discomfort, pain and other adverse reactions in digital impression was 13.5%, which was significantly lower than 57.7% in traditional impression bite .
3. Comparison of repair effect.A total of 104 restorations were prepared by the two groups of mold extraction methods, without edge damage or crack.After the clinical trial, all the 52 restorations in the digital printing module were in good position, and the adjacency and occlusal relations were well restored. The edge tightness was of grade A or B, and none of them was of grade C, with A pass rate of 100%. Among the 52 restorations in the traditional biting mode, the edge tightness was of grade A and B, 45 pieces, and 7 pieces of grade C, with A pass rate of 86.5%.The qualified rate of the edge compactance of the digital imprinted prosthesis was significantly higher than that of the traditional biting method.
